About Bowerbird
Bowerbird Preschool is set in leafy Carrum Downs; our centre has a large playground which allows for exploration and space to learn.
We believe that all children should have access to high-quality education and care in an environment that allows children to feel safe and secure.
The quality and commitment of our professional staff is an integral part of our centre and is reflected in our daily practices. We have a specific focus on play-based learning and recognise the importance of intentional teaching in the areas of social and emotional development and communication and language, including early literacy, numeracy and science. We place a high emphasis on respect and believe that this respect should be shared between families, children and staff, as we all work together to achieve high outcomes for the children. We believe in creating strong partnerships with families; children’s first and most important teachers.
Our kindergarten uses the National Early Years Learning Framework and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework to underpin our curriculum.

REGISTRATION
To enrol at a Community Kinders Plus kindergarten you must first register with the Frankston City Council. This can be done online.
Frankston City Council Registrations:
2023 – 4 Year old registration: On time registrations close 30 April, 2022
2021 – If you would like to inquire further about vacancies for the current year, please contact the Children’s Services Support Officer on :
1300 322 322 or email: info@frankston.vic.gov.au
Frankston City Council will then facilitate the offers of enrolment at each service. Once you have received an offer you will then be contacted by Community Kinders Plus.
CKP will contact you with your unique username and password which will allow access to the website to complete your child’s online enrolment form. Do not attempt to login unless you have these details. Attempts to enrol your child without these login details will be unsuccessful and you will have to fill out the form again once you received your SMS. For further support please contact Community Kinders Plus on 03 9783 3931.

Order your kinder uniforms by going online and visiting this link. *Note each kinder has a range of uniform options including tee shirts, long sleeve tee shirts, hats, jumpers and polo’s. Prices include your kinder logo on each uniform as well as GST. Each of the uniforms come in a range of colours including royal, navy, green, pink & red. You can select any of these colours for your child. Payment is available on check out. You may choose direct debit or for credit card payments please select PAYPAL where you are able to pay by all major credit cards with no additional fee. **TRY ON SAMPLES FIRST ** We highly recommend that you arrange a sample for sizing prior to purchase. Each kindergarten has its own sample pack in addition to the CKP office at 20 Ebdale Street, Frankston. We may not be able to exchange for incorrect sizing so please arrange a sample where possible.
